Audio & Audio Products: The Top 6 Reasons It Matters

In this world of instant information and YouTube, I often get asked “why do I need audio products” and “why do I need to know how to work with audio?”

Here are the top 3 reasons you need audio products:Bundles of $100 bills, audio book, Sandy Weaver Carman, Voicework On Demand, audio products, speakers, writers, coaches, trainers, audio book, Voicework on Demand

  1. Make more money
  2. Reach more people
  3. Enhance your “expert” status

And here are the top 3 reasons you might want to learn how to work with audio:

  1. Spend less money and still have audio products to make more money with
  2. Better-sounding podcasts, radio shows, etc.
  3. Easily turn podcasts into videos for more exposure on the web

Video products are the sexy big sister, but in truth, audio products are more useful in more ways, and are at least as easy, if not easier, to monetize than video products. You can make audio products in your pajamas if you’d like, and most people looking to portray their expertise wouldn’t make a video looking less than their best!

Having CDs to sell in the back of the room when you make a speech, teach a seminar, or have a book signing is tough to do unless you have audio products! Having downloadable audio products available in your membership website is a bonus for members, making your information portable for them. Using your speeches, blog posts, white papers and seminars as the audio portion of a video is simple to do if you know how to work with audio.

Of course, my company can handle all of this for you, but if you have the time and inclination to learn a new skill, I’d love to help you learn to produce your own audio products.
