Want the podcast? Here you go…
On this blog, we talk a lot about audio products and how people use them. Turns out, other blogs talk about that, too. Not surprising, as the use of audio books and audio learning grows rapidly.
So for this post, I’m going to suggest you read another blog post – OnlineCollegeCourses.com, because they’re proving a point. And the point is, audio products are a great way to reach busy people of all ages.
They’ve just posted a list of 50 audio books to listen to while working out, and they broke that list into different sections: Happiness & Well-being, Money, Work & Productivity, Food & Health, Civics, and Free Books. Most of the links take you to Audible.com to purchase the audio product. If it’s not available there, as in the case of some of the free books, you’re taken to other reputable pages for the download.
Now, before you run off and read that post, I want you to think of the audio products you could be offering. Your book could be showing up on lists like the one OnlineCollegeCourses.com posted. Your audio products could be in the ears of people while they work out, do chores or commute. It could be you making money each time someone downloads audio products.
For ideas on how to monetize your intellectual capital, there are several blog posts on this site that will inspire you. For exactly how to produce your own audio products, I’ve written an e-book, “Create a Revenue River,” and it costs less than $10. In it, you’ll find repurposing ideas, how to build a serviceable studio in your home, how to use free recording software to produce great products and much more. If you’re a do-it-yourselfer that wants audio products, you need that e-book! If you’re not a do-it-yourselfer, please know that my company stands ready to assist you affordably, quickly and professionally.
Every day you delay your entrance into the audio products marketplace, you’re losing money. I want you to have that money – I want you to have audio products that will make you money while you sleep, while you vacation or while you just don’t feel like working so hard.
Do you have a question about audio products? I’d love to hear it, and maybe answer it right here. Helping people monetize their content is what we do!
