Mission: Small Business is giving $250,000 grants to a dozen businesses. Yep, just giving them away. It’s a joint venture between Chase Bank and Living Social, it has a social media slant to it, and in order to even be considered for the grant, each entered business has to get 250 votes.
In order for your clients and friends to vote, they have to have a Facebook account. If they do, voting is very easy – they log in with their Facebook account, search for your business by name, and then cast a vote.
Do you have a Facebook account? You can practice by voting for my company, Voicework on Demand, Inc. Go to Mission: Small Business, log in with your Facebook account, type Voicework on Demand, Inc. in the search field, vote, and you’re done!
While you’re there, register your business for a grant. Then let me know you’re there, and I’ll go vote for you, too. As a community of businesses, if we all vote for each other, then we can reach the 250 threshold necessary to even be considered for a grant.
At that point, each business competes on its own merit for the grants. Cooperation is what will get us into the competition!
So please vote for my company and I’ll vote for yours. And may the best dozen small businesses win.
I know what a quarter of a million dollars would do for my business. What would it do for yours?
Do you have a question? I’d love to hear it, and maybe answer it right here. Helping people monetize their content is what we do!
